I seriously want to scold these idiots on the sell used stuff apps. First off, CLEAN the item you are selling. Don't take pictures of a filthy appliance. Mind the background, don't have it littered with trash. Then the kicker, pricing, just because you paid $500 in 1996 does not mean it's with $300 today... It's probably more like 50-100 depending.
There is a lady selling 3-9 irons for $400...no woods, used old model Taylor Made. Lady, I can go to the store and buy new with $400. Why would I buy your used shit? 50 to 100 I might be a buyer.
Another, has a stove (likey left in house they just got) the thing is FILTHY with trash sitting on it for the pics... WTF are you thinking? And asking 170 for a 500 new stove. Idiots!
The funny part, the stove is a promoted ad... She is paying money for get exposure on that horrible deal. If she cleaned that stove up and found the right sucker, might get 170...really looks like 100 to me.
I sold a simular one last year for 100...mine was like new clean.
So you got a house with a crap stove left in it and you think you're getting $170 and you're too lazy to clean the damn thing???
Can't even scoot it away from the construction material or remove the trash for a Pic??? I just want to scold these idiots like a pet that peed on the carpet!
@TomStark913 If someone has a baked on, caked on food fetish they might jump on it, but otherwise PASS! I used to sell pre- owned vintage/ flea market finds and spent hours cleaning and polishing before offering an item for sale
My hubby has sold plenty on EBay. You just nailed his #1 pet peeve. He is disgusted by people who don’t clean the item they are selling.
He’s a photographer too, and can’t believe the pics people post (crap in background, pic sideways, etc.)
