I remember at one point, I actually did do tough love. I was around 17 years old. I said, “Michael, this is getting old. I’m not talking to you until you straighten up.” It worked.
You see, he and I had the best sibling relationship you could ask for. We were best friends. We meant everything to each other. So he tried for me to get his life on track.
