@ThomasWic I came across this and thought of you. I assume it was a common piece of farm equipment in the 40s and 50s.

Calls to disband police in Toronto. Thomas is right, the left figures the answer to every problem is to move farther left. I know this won't happen, but Jesus, the fact that someone would even say it. Too bad we can't drop all the libs in a walled compound to feed off each other.

@Debradelai @HunDriverWidow

Y'all hit on one of my pet peeves today. The idea that 'natural' means better.

Poison ivy comes from nature. Rattlesnakes come from nature.

Cemeteries are full of mothers who had their babies naturally without the aid of a hospitals or medications.

Foxglove will kill you if you don't know how to process it to make digitalis and then know how to prescribe it.

Brains bring the cure not nature.

Shocking statistics released by an official of the regime’s Ministry of Health indicate that more than 10,000 medical staff in Iran are infected with the novel coronavirus.

Day 11 - Isolation is hard. I swear my fridge just said, "What the hell do you want now?"
Day 12 - I realized why dogs get so excited about something moving outside, going for walks or car rides. I think I just barked at a squirrel.
Day 13 - If you keep a glass of wine in each hand, you can't accidentally touch your face.
Day 14 - Watched the birds fight over a worm. The Cardinals lead the Blue Jays 3-1.
Day 15 - Anybody else feel like they've cooked dinner about 395 times this week?
END

Day 8 - Went to a new restaurant called "The Kitchen". You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have No clue how this place is still in business.
Day 9 - I put liquor bottles in every room. Tonight, I'm getting all dressed up and going Bar hopping.
Day 10 - Struck up a conversation with a spider today. Seems nice, he's a Web Designer.

Day 4 - 8 p.m.. Removed my day pajamas and put on my night pajamas.
Day 5 - Today, I tried to make Hand Sanitizer. It came out as Jello Shots!!
Day 6 - I get to take the garbage out. I'm Sooo excited, I can't decide what to wear.
Day 7 - Laughing way too much at my own jokes!!

Every day we have to take our temperature twice and log it with the liaison officer, and if we start feeling unwell or if we need anything at all, we shall contact him.
So, now we cross fingers that no one on our plane is later on diagnosed with the virus. In that case, they will come and pick us up and take us to a quarantine hotel for the remainder of our quarantine time for observation. This has happened to a number of our friends who have returned to Suzhou in the last couple of weeks. END

When we receive our deliveries is when we can leave outside our trash. Someone from the compound will take it downstairs. We can order stuff every day, but they have asked us to try to make all the deliveries at around the same time, so the door won't be open too much in a day. (14)

A notice by our door will indicate that we are in quarantine and the dates of our quarantine. To get food and supplies, we have to order online and delivered to the gate. We can let the liaison officer know when we have some arriving and he will contact people at the compound to bring them to our door. When we open the door to receive them, the sensor will go off but the officer can log that as checked. (13)

When we finally got to my compound, the compound's health committee was waiting for us. A liaison officer who will be supervising our quarantine was also there. We were welcome and given more forms to fill in. They explained to us the procedure of the quarantine. Basically, we can't leave our apartment for 14 days and an electronic sensor is put on our door. (12)

We waited there for 40 minutes until we were called, our paperwork checked once again, our temperature checked again, and then taken to a bus with another family and a solo traveler. Before boarding the bus, our city provided a care package for each of us with masks, hand sanitizer, biscuits and water. This was another hour-long journey. (11)

In Kunshan, we were taken to a big hall of the expo centre where each of the major cities in my province had an enclosed section. There were chairs each a meter apart from each other. They had snacks and water/milk available. Again, everyone wearing full protective gear. By the way, all the people we dealt with were kind and helpful. (10)

We got there and we had to fill in more forms, another temperature check and then wait for our bus to take us to a city called Kunshan near the border between Shanghai and the province where I live. Again, everyone there was in full hazmat suits and protective gear. After waiting there for one hour, we got on the bus and it took us over an hour to get to Kunshan. (9)
