Faucci, a miserable loser who's only ability lies in navigating the nomenclature as an accomplished bureaucrat has finally busted my balls.
This miserable Clinton loving moron has NOTHING intelligent to say.
As the rest of us go back to shaking hands, this little figlio di sucamincchia can shake my dick.
His "15 minutes" are long gone.
Hmmm, maybe more than just the media attention?
2 ½ weeks ago Dr. Fauci said 1 — 2 million Americans would die from coronavirus.
1½ weeks ago he said 100,000–200,000 Americans will die from the virus.
Monday he said 81,766 Americans would die from the coronavirus.
Wednesday the experts cut the number to 60,415 projected deaths.
Now Dr. Fauci said Americans should never shake hands again over the coronavirus.
Fauci is bureaucrat, that's for sure.
Do I think he's sinister? No. Nor do I think he's out trying to hurt America. But again, bureaucrat, so he's out to make sure he keeps his job and keeps funding for his area of government.
I also think that finger salute is unfair. We don't even know who he was doing that to. Everyone just assumes it was Karl.
And why would he even do that with Karl? The question didn't do anything for him
The video clip clearly shows Karl giving Fauci a quick military-style salute and Fauci responding with a finger-point. In any other context it could be shrugged off. But this happened at the end of a press conference where Karl was in the spotlight for being overtly belligerent, disrespectful and argumentative. Trump finally called him a horrible reporter. Then you see Fauci and Karl giving each other salutes at the end. In this context it looked anything but innocent.
@spinmaven Do you have the video? Because the one I saw only shows Fauci doing the finger salute with no other context.
Here's the link to the hand-signals clip. It's easy to miss, but watch Karl. He definitely gives Fauci a salute.
And here is the clip of just part of the press conference where Trump takes down Karl. There was more prior to that moment.
@spinmaven I know this one, I saw it live. I watch them every day.
So unless Fauci and Karl got together before the briefing to set up an Obama-era IG to be a "whistleblower" and then have Karl's ass handed to him over it...
I'm just not seeing it.
Fauci has been in every administration since Regan. But he's going to take down Trump because... why?
I think that's ridiculous all around.
He wants to keep his institute funded and nothing more.
@spinmaven Okay, but this just seems like a hi?
Look, Fauci is a bureaucrat, but I think it's a bit of a stretch to take a 3 second clip and decide they were tag teaming POTUS or something.
Hell, just yesterday, Trump joked with Acosta over the Tiger King guy. Are we to assume over that interaction that they're in cahoots to make the mainstream media look bad?
I'm just not buying the sinisterness of all this. But maybe that's because people insist Fauci's plan is to force vaccinations. 🤷♀️
@spinmaven I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but I've seen this a lot, even on here.
So my knee jerk reaction is to push back on the absurdity, even when it's not being presented by anyone.
@umad80 I agree, he's a bureaucrat with his own interests above all else, and the hand-signal thing probably wasn't sinister. But after Karl stirs the pot in the middle of a press conference and Fauci's boss calls him a third-rate reporter -- the two exchange pleasantries on the way out the door? To me it's a stain on Fauci's character to give what looked like a high-five to Karl after what had just happened.
@spinmaven To be fair, it wasn't Karl who started it. It was another reporter, a woman. I can't remember who. Karl jumped in to save her. He then got his ass handed to him.
So unless, for some unknown reason, that was the plan, it just seems like they're old friends.
Which would make sense since Fauci has four decades of service in government.
He DOES need to go, but only because he's putting government above people.
You are absolutely correct, the other reporter started it. I don't buy in to any of the conspiracy stuff, but that interchange sure started a lot of tongues wagging. That's why the context mattered. The fact that he/they were dumb enough to think what they did would not be misconstrued after that spectacle of a press conference tells me that Fauci, in particular, has not a clue that the biggest part of his job is not just to advise the President, but to support and show respect.
@spinmaven Oh, exactly. I think it was just a stupid thing done that Fauci is too much of a dinosaur to know it would be seen and misconstrued.
IMO, I think Trump doesn't dislike Fauci, and I think he values his opinion, but I get the feeling he also knows he's government and to allow him enough rope to hang himself.
In his 2nd term, Fauci will be replaced by someone new, imo.
Hi, folks. Hope it is okay to chime in.
1/2 The sketchy about Karl is that he is the head of press group, decides who gets in, and that day invited in a journalist that even Ted Cruz has revealed having knowledge of Chinese gov't ties of her journal from his investigation last year.
I've got another video of Fauci do his little waving to Acosta. He definitely has some questionable fond favorites in the audience.
Here ya go. Video of both.
Last night, Fauci and Acosta shared a little on air kind of 'fist bump'. Fauci is such a pompous little weasel. As he turned his back and walked out, I wanted to boot plant his little rump through the screen. No doubt POTUS has had his number for a while.
"Why is Fauci in bed with the Fake News? Yesterday it was Jon Karl, today its Jim Acosta!"
POTUS joked with Acosta over The Tiger King. Are we supposed to be pissed at that?
It just seems like a stretch to go this far imo.
I agree that Fauci cares more about numbers than people. That he cares about government continuing then he does about the economy chugging along.
But not having an adversarial relationship with the press because they're assholes just seems crazy to be pissed about imo.
I hear you. For me he lost my trust a while back when he presented the unvalidated model from UK's Imperial by an epidemiologist with long track record of being way off. He has been continually inconsistent, not only on the numbers, but he went on social media interviews and presented contradictory info. Finally, he co-authored a paper published last month that had significantly lower model numbers than what he continued to push to the Corona team up til last week.
As I've said, he puts numbers ahead of people. He's using stupid models and basing decisions.
Just once I wish someone would ask him, "How do we know social distancing works if we do not have places that are doing the opposite? Shouldn't we have a control study?"
But they won't. The press is too giddy that this is happening. They think the economy is doomed this way.
Hear hear. I do believe he is quite a political animal, but get that we have a different take in that.
On hydroxychloroquine cocktail treatment, every state official who has forbidden its doctors' use in late stage COVID, or early stage COVID... they have all cited Fauci's warnings, hesitancy, and ambivalence on it as justification. The drug has been peer-reviewed published numerous times as an effective treatment for coronaviruses for over 15 years.
Yes, he has their blood on his hands over this. I get that it's a different strain and a new study has to be done, but he should have never acted like it shouldn't be tried.
Incidentally, he did change his tune and recommend doctors do whatever they can to help their patients.
Unfortunately that is not getting play and the damage is already done.
I know, crazy yes! I just found out today reading an imploring toot from @SidneyPowell to Gov Abbot that Texas of all places has blocked the legal prescribing of the hydroxychloroquine cocktail for anybody who is not hospitalized and at death's door. A report came out last week that only 23% of American doctors are using it. Other places on the planet are prescribing widely at first sign of symptoms with great results. On Fauci. Docs prescribe 20% of drugs off-label, but no.
Those who label words as violence do so with the sole purpose of justifying violence against words.
