Its implications are far-reaching.
It signaled Trump's drive to fight the coming war on enemy ground: inner cities, working class union households, Latino families. He is not conceding territory. He is positioning himself, particularly in the black community, to make them look at him directly, to make up their own minds, to shake off the shackles of mediathink and DemLies.
Trump has a formidable record on which to run. He should win.
Those who label words as violence do so with the sole purpose of justifying violence against words.
