I’m now experiencing the phenomenon of disconnection. That might seem like a no-brainer after 10 months of COVID, but it’s a different strain, so to speak.
Rather than being a separation from the people around me, either due to the oddity of masks or the cancellation of events, it’s a disconnection from society more broadly.
