How do I know he studied Russian for four years?
I had to find an ancient paper that listed schools with mandatory classes in Russian.

Here’s the reason that a lot of military aren’t seen on ADSB sites
The FAA charged the rule for use of ADSB. Good info.
“Under the new rule, aircraft conducting operations related to homeland security, law enforcement, national defense and intelligence that could be compromised by transmitting real-time aircraft position information are permitted to disable ADS-B transmissions after obtaining proper authorization from the FAA.”
All military aircraft have encrypted transponders that can be read by Mil radar, etc, but not FAA. Also probably encrypted SATCOM for positioning, other comms. The people that need to know where they are, do.

Jedi, when you say “military radar”, are you referring to conus or just warning areas, restricted areas, terrain following etc? Just for my knowledge. I was a controller a long while ago and thing have changed a lot I’m sure. Thanks.
Been away a few years myself. I’m sure now it’s even better. Encrypted transponders would work anywhere in the world where military could ping them. This would include Airborne assets, Naval, and ground installations. No doubt also with secure SATCOM, military aircraft could be monitored anywhere in the world by anyone with necessary equipment. Like I said I’ve been away from military flying, but I know that current tech for tracking air assets (securely) is extensive.

But for the military side, even if all of that data was encrypted, couldn't a bad guy triangulate on the ping ? Or are they spread spectrum ? Not asking to reveal anything you shouldn't, just curious.

Instead of teaching how to read and comprehend, they just taught you to memorize the words. Luckily for me, my son is a junior in high school now after getting a great math teacher in 8th grade that is going to NASA's aerospace program for a 2yr degree that he will get at same time as hs diploma. Trust me, its no thanks to the public school system.

Talk about taking a problem and make it more difficult with more steps, taking more time, made no sense. My husband was a control room operator at a power plant, well versed in math said he'd lose his job if he did math that way, taking longer with more steps than necessary, while plant waited.
His whole first term, Trump showed us he has a hat full of endless rabbits. Yet people still seem to doubt each time that he'll pull another one out. Why would his second term prove any different? He promised to drain the swamp, so here we go!

@ThomasWic I'd love to know exactly how many languages he can speak/understand. I doubt, for good reason, we will ever know, but I'm sure it's a fair few.
@JurzeeGurl if he was able to learn Arabic, then I respect him even more, if that’s even possible. Learning languages comes easy to me. But I gave up on Arabic in a month. It is torturous.

When Trump had a routine doctors appointment (pre-potus obviously) if he had to wait for whatever reason, he’d sit in the waiting room with other patients and read the paper.
I’m aquatinted with his NYC PCP. The one Trump sued for HIPAA violations bc the doctor gave the NYT an interview. Weird bc I’m sure the doctor knew about HIPAA
