It's a whole combination of things.
The Democrats are very good at defeating idiots and the gutless, so they're plowing ahead with their tried-and-true playbook.
It's still working on a lot of people.
For example, exposing the corruption does no good unless change is forced.
That's why I have no patience for those who wail about the system being rigged.

A hell of a lot of people saying that are actually working for the other side.
The Democrats are fighting the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom by PRETENDING to hate Newsom.
They're going to run a huge number of opposition candidates in order to split the vote, and that way Newsom will successfully argue that the state should stick with the devil they know.
One of the people leading the charge against Newsom is a Silicon Valley tech billionaire who helped put Newsom in office.
But he just SAYS the right words, and people support him.
Newsom will survive the recall.
Another factor in what the Democrats are doing now is showing their true colors, since they now think they can steal elections with impunity.
They think Trump surrendered and walked away.
The Senate trial is about the FUTURE, not the present.
They're not worried about the present, which is a lethal miscalculation.
If I could figure out how Trump could beat this, you can bet that Trump already did it.
But as you've noticed, NOBODY has a clue what Trump did.
The Democrats have never faced a true opponent.
They're exactly like the communist Chinese, who've lost every war they've fought.
And lost BADLY.
Who sends human waves of infantry out to face ground-attack jets armed with heavy machine guns, high-explosive rockets, and napalm?
The Chinese!
What it comes down to is the Democrats are spoiled, vengeful , rigid, and motivated by hate and greed.
It's impossible for them to think clearly.
As a result, they're doomed.

The recall will be interesting, as if Trump pulls something off soon, it might cause interesting gyrations from the Dems

So true. Controlling one's emotions is a learned skill. Heck, it's not even that hard to do. If I could, anyone can. If they are willing.
@ilumanous @ThomasWic as someone on the receiving end of many years of therapy, what we really have power over is our -response- to emotions we feel.
Emotions are triggered either voluntarily or involuntarily by all sorts of internal (e.g. our own random/happy/sad/nasty/etc thoughts) or external stimuli (e.g. AOC's tweets), most of which are outside of our control.
And when I say man, I am including all of mankind.
Just in case anyone thought I meant that only the male member of the species needed to control their emotions.

It seems to me the Chinese leadership treat their citizens and military as nothing more than cannon fodder. When there is no respect or value on human life, it’s easy to throw those lives away without conscience. Such an ancient culture full of wondrous art and craftsmanship has been lost. It’s heartbreaking.

@ThomasWic What you said about CA's Newsom recall is dead on. In fact, Don Jr called in to a live event in Wyoming and said precisely that about getting rid of Liz Cheney. I will paraphrase....He said, everyone just sit back and and look at options. Let's not divide ourselves and so on. It was a great event. I hope more people watch as it provides insight into what team Trump will do to the GOP as it takes over.
