The reason we're here is the lack of ability to engage in critical thinking.
If you see it on TV or on social media, it's true.
People ignore things like 27,000 National Guard troops locking down not only the capitol but the city of DC itself, but they panic at a report of Pence calling Kamala Harris to congratulate her.
Maybe it's just that people think the big picture is too complext grasp, so they don't even try.
If Trump is doing what I KNOW he is, it's the most important single action in human history.
It's going to change the entire world.
I read an extremely cinematic article about Trump wandering the empty White House, ranting to the empty air after everybody left.
But that's a scene from a movie. The White House wouldn't be empty. People should know this, but they don't.
That's what the Democrats capitalize on.
Ignorance.
BUT.
Trump is using that ignorance to HIS advantage.
Since only a handful of us have figured out what's really happening, and virtually everyone else has accepted the transparently false narrative, Trump can do this easily.
He's closed both our borders, and I'm sure there are other methods being used to keep the guilty from fleeing.
Of course Trump's "supporters" are begging for a clue that all is not lost, but they put themselves in that pickle.
All they had to do was research Trump, as I've been telling them to do for FIVE STRAIGHT YEARS, but they refused.
And now they look to me to save them.
Nope.
I've cut the apron strings.
Sweat it out. Actions have consequences.
You chose to be mentally slothful, so now you pay the price.
EVEN NOW people want me to look at nonsense to tell them what to believe.
Nope.
Sink or swim, baby.
YOU GOT US HERE. So I'm not in a forgiving mood.
The reason people think I'm wrong is that they're dismissing massive amounts of circumstantial evidence in order to cling to their narrative.
Exactly like the people they claim to hate.

Military deception used to rationalize locking down DC. After Trump does what he's going to do, he'll be facing more threats than at any time in his presidency.
But he's ready.
Since most of us wake up every morning with amnesia, we forgot that Trump TOLD US that we was going to fix our election system once and for all.
It would be the most important thing he ever did in his presidency.
But that was more than a month ago. Too long ago to remember.
I DIDN'T FORGET.
So I knew he'd do something VERY dramatic.
If you're suffering bottomless angst, BLAME YOURSELF.
Maybe you'll finally change your habits to make sure you never put yourself in this position again.

@ThomasWic Sometimes, being young to this world does have its downsides. I still am dreading the possibility of the enemy winning. But an upside if being young is that the lessons will be applied for a much longer time.
I only voted twice in American elections, and I regret not voting for Trump in his first run (skipped it entirely, my non-political self saw it as an election of who you despise more and I didn’t want to be caught in that). Now I’ll be voting to make sure we do MAGA.

I estimate you are 30 (three eligible elections)....you've seen nothing but misery your entire adult life with Shifty Clinton, Milktoast Bush, and Criminal Obama...thats 24 YEARS of LOSING.
So I get the trepidation and suspicion of young folk. My kids in the same age range.
But Trump is a New Breed, never seen by living Americans. Just watch.

But again, there’s always that nagging voice that always says “what if we lose?” I still have utmost confidence in Trump and the military but the other reality is terrifying to think of.

I work with this younger generation & they are totally oblivious to what is happening. But, I guess I was at their age also. Only difference we didn't have IPhones & SM to distract us. We actually talked to one another & got along.

It's not to late! Now, my son was a rebellious teen & I thought his kids would be the same, but I am so proud as to how he raised his children because he wanted the best for them. I miss him every day. Hang tight, their generation can change the next!

My sister became a Trump-hater to ingratiate herself with her loser kids (and they ARE loser)
I think us Geezers have gotta stand up for sanity even in the face of the hip, slick and Kool of the misconceptions of the youth.
Parents get a lot "smarter" as the kiddies get older. Heh, heh.

I work in the medical field & I see it daily. Boy, I tell ya if I talked to my parents like they do, we would have been across the room. LOL

I ran away from home once when I found out the School called my parents. My older sister found me. It wasn’t that difficult. 2 blocks from home at my best friends house. I hid in a closet when my friend told me she was at the door. My sister came in so relieved. I told her I was not coming out of the closet unless you could assure me I wasn’t going to get a beating. Hahaha!! It worked. I was 14.

What I see in young parents is that they have this idea that they need to:
1 be liked by their kids
2 run their households FOR the kids
3 avoid letting one UN-supervised second go by in their kids lives
4 Pity their kids, i.e. "feel sorry" about correcting the kids bad behavior.
What many don't comprehend is that "cute" behavior at age 18 months, becomes super self-centered rage at age 13 IF IT IS NOT CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.

Imho the parental mind set needs to change at long last from 'raising children' to 'training adults'. Be gentle and loving, of course, but also be specific and tough. They are the future (not just ours, but the whole world's) - prepare them for it.

My aging kids for awhile went the "dogs are my kids" phase. They had dogs, no kids.
They tried calling me the DOG'S grandma. I put a stop to that quick,
They are all followers of Cesar Milan, "The Dog Whisperer". I tell that that if they followed Cesar's advice with their kids, they would have less stress.
