Warren Buffet - leftist, globalist, and card-carrying member of the Obama jerk circle - actually has a great piece of advice. For everyone.

It is also, ironically, one of the reasons why leftists are doomed to suffering, subjugation, and abject failure. Because they are taught, en masse, to do the exact opposite.

@StevenDouglas

From what I have researched a Warren Buffet parody account tweeted this saying in 2018, and it is the only place that connects him to the quote.

This is the info on the fake account.

@ilumanous

Good to know, thank you!

Have to admit I was SHOCKED that a quote like that would be attributed to him. But I shook my head and accepted it on face value.

@StevenDouglas

Some people said it was a quote by Marcus Aurelius, but I haven't been able to find it under his name either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@ilumanous @StevenDouglas

It makes the ‘rounds being falsely attributed to either Buffett or Bruce Lee.

Whoever first wrote it, may have been inspired by this quote:

“If you are pained by any external thing, it is not this thing that disturbs you, but your own judgment about it. And it is in your power to wipe out this judgment now.”

- Marcus Aurelius, ‘Meditations’

@ilumanous @StevenDouglas

And this one.

“It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.”

— Epictetus

@justhuman @StevenDouglas

“If you are pained by any external thing, it is not this thing that disturbs you, but your own judgment about it. And it is in your power to wipe out this judgment now.”

That is so true and is close to the thought process behind the other quote. 👍

Aurelius said some really wise things.

I saw that information about how they attributed it to Buffett and BRUCE LEE.

It made me laugh. Ha!

@StevenDouglas Absolutely true! Father learned that when the SS beat on him in the camps. Just let people talk their talk. Takes 2 for a confrontation.

@johnb

Saved the pic a while back, can't remember where from.

It's something I would say, nearly verbatim.

@StevenDouglas —You’re right. This is great advice, even coming from a slimeball like Buffet.

The reason I say this: he’s the type who has used the capitalist system to become successful, but now wants to ensure no one else does.

Pulled up the Success ladder behind him.

@BlkLdyPatriot

This is what I despise about the lot of them - how they pull up the ladder behind themselves. I don't begrudge them getting rich, what ticks me off is that they don't just let the pie grow bigger.

Those who label words as violence do so with the sole purpose of justifying violence against words.
