It strikes me that Florida’s willingness to defend itself against political aggression by Disney is a sign of the times. Republicans, and conservatives generally, are no longer reflexively pro-business. The days of deference to corporate bottom lines are over. The GOP is the party of small business; big business, for the most part, went left some time ago. Today’s action can be seen as one sign among many of the ongoing realignment of American politics.

I don't regret not getting the vaccine.

I regret that our country was needlessly and harmfully shut down because of a nasty virus.

Woodstock took place in the middle of a pandemic. Nobody shut down the country.

Americans have become soft, fearful and malleable sheep.

Background info: CVS pharmacy owns it's own insurance company pharmacy benefit manager called CVS caremark. Recently, they started restricting patients to certain pharmacies(their own) or certain mail order pharmacies(their own) irregardless of what the patients want. I've had patients come her and ask us to transfer their meds to CVS cause their insurance no longer covers their medications here anymore. Pure fascism and another tool CVS uses to crush the little guys.

Everyone should grow Football Mums. (Here with a couple of dahlias)

“The denial of Governor Abbott’s FEMA request is… a firm statement by the federal govt that it is abandoning the people and the state of Texas… States… are left with no choice but to step up even more to protect their own borders…”

Texas passed a law prohibiting Facebook, Twitter & Google from removing conservative viewpoints.

They sued us.

Now, a federal judge will let Texas seek internal documents about how they moderate content.

It's about to get interesting.

We can hope but we will have to see how this plays out.

The media is going to obfuscate this.

And from the way WalMart has gone all in on the jab and their woke mask policies in the store, it soes not surprise me they have been leveraging CRT based training for their higher level managers.

Go Woke -> Go Broke

Your day is coming Wally World. Just look at Montgomery Ward, Sears, K Mart, and more. It will happen.

So when Klain is so bold as to declare that the economic catastrophes acutely affectinglow- and middle-class Americans daily are “high class problems,” it’s not surprising at all. It’s just the next in the never-ending string of reminders that the “high class” folks in Washington, D.C., are wildly out of touch with you — and that they just really don’t care at all about your problems.

What’s striking is how out-of-touch Bezos is with the moment. Here before him is William Shatner, who was born in 1931 and has just returned from space — space! The legendary actor, Captain Kirk himself, has had what appears to be a mystical experience of the Divine, and all Bezos can do is stare blankly at him while he tries to break away so he pop a bottle of champers and take a group selfie.
