Never forget

Dear friends,

Some of you may remember the author Ann M. Casey, who used to be a member of this forum up until some time ago. Her handle was @cully45.

I and many other people kept in touch with her through various means, and she was one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met online.

With those who remember her I have to share the horribly sad news of her passing away, after the cancer, from which she had been able to recover, had struck again, forcefully.

May she rest in peace 🙏

"government is a business" and I've been blinded by the ideology, patriotism, and prosperity. The stupid hope the government knows how to govern. Ethics is a buzzword. They have always filled their pockets. The only difference they are not hiding it anymore. The media goes "these aren't the droids you're looking for" and everyone repeats it.

I live in MT so the s-holes of this country don’t matter much-to me.

But, I find myself fighting tears as I write this toot. The disappointment I feel in realizing there are so many willing to piss this country away, just so they can kill their babies as they are exiting the birth canal is infuriating.

interesting bit that the judge threw out the testimony (and related exhibits) of the prosecution's FBI agent witness, and will presumably have a jury instruction to disregard it (which presumably will create another basis of appeal for Bannon, in that it's very difficult to get the jury to disregard testimony and exhibits that were already presented --especially when it's 1 out of 2 prosecution witnesses).
