It's time to stop thinking about this in terms of anything that went before it.

This is totally different.

The outcome is preordained.

So sit back and watch the greatest show ever.

...and NEW BEGINNING

It's not that Trump has done INESTIMABLE damage to leftism and globalism. It's that much of it is now IRREVERSIBLE in our lifetimes.

Now Graham.

So I was right.

Trump, McConnell, and Graham set a trap. The Democrats fell in.

The courts can't force Pelosi to act, so the only way to prevent future extortion is for Trump to take the stand and utterly destroy the entire Democratic party.

Both McConnell and Graham are explaining WHY Trump will do this.

It's because there's no mechanism to prevent the House from from crippling the Senate with endless trials.

It appears the stock market saw nothing today to worry about from the Dems misguided impeachment farce.

With all the insanity taking place in our country, I have found QuodVerum Forum to be like salve on a wound.

Thank you for offering this refuge.

@ThomasWic

The President today continues to relentless goad the Democrats into a Senate Trial:

"Pelosi feels her phony impeachment HOAX is so pathetic she is afraid to present it to the Senate, which can set a date and put this whole SCAM into default if they refuse to show up! The Do Nothings are so bad for our Country!".

He is certainly not challenging them to a Senate trial in order to rehash the House's "slapdash" nonsense; and rinse and repeat again in 2020.

@ThomasWic
Thank you for your insightful analysis of the situation.

Giuliani admitted he brought back evidence & documentation for the Ukraine corruption.

Barr & Durham literally traveled the world in their quest for evidence & found it in Italy, the UK & perhaps even Romania.

All signs lead to exactly what you are predicting Thomas.

And it will be glorious!

@ThomasWic

Mr. Wictor, you are the second-most inspiring figure in all of media.

You and I both know who the first is.

I haven't seen a single analysis that is on target. Literally nobody in the country except for a tiny handful of Trump's allies understands what's happening.

Everybody is thinking tactically, while of course Trump is thinking strategically.

All you have to do is ask yourself how Trump can prevent this from happening again, and you'll find that there's only one answer.

END

The trial isn't going to be about the articles of impeachment.

It's going to be about the lawlessness of the PROCESS of impeachment, which stemmed from the utter lawlessness of the Democrats.

What I hate about lawyers is that they present "theories."

In this case, the defense theory will be that the impeachment was the result of massive, near-universal corruption of the Democrats and our law-enforcement and intelligence arms.

There's tons of stuff going on that isn't as it seems.

You're thinking that Trump will do something entirely conventional, but he's never done anything conventionally.

HE GOADED THE DEMOCRATS INTO IMPEACHING HIM.

Why would he do that?

Because he's got big plans for them.

The defendant gets to take the stand during his defense.

As a lawyer, you're thinking that they're going to ask him, "Did you do this?" and he'll say, "I sure didn't."

That's not going to happen.

Trump's defense team is going to produce HARD EVIDENCE of the corruption.

That means documentation.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have tapes and videos.

Why hasn't Trump complained about Christopher Wray of the FBI?

@Praxis

I think he is fine, he is strong and faced three years of investigation. Add he'll be the first President impeached by the Congress to be re-elected in a landslide!

The impeachment encompasses everything that Trump has been talking about, so OF COURSE he'll be allowed to prove that what he's saying is true.

He has HARD EVIDENCE.

This isn't a law-school exercise. You're thinking too small.

But so is everybody else.

I have to admit that it's frustrating, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Trump's going to destroy he Democratic party. McConnell and Graham are admitting it.

What the Democrats have done is a threat to the entire governance of the republic.

And you're thinking in terms of lawyers asking a couple of questions, and then the Senate voting.

How would that address the threat of the total collapse of the system itself?

Trump has to provide a solution. If not, the Democrats will impeach him and Pence again and again and again.

What's the only solution?

The death of the Democratic party.

@REX it's so convenient that it's exactly 30 anti-Trump Congressmen in pro-Trump districts.

His revenge will be winning back the House on the ashes of the political careers of the DIRTY 30

Alcatraz is actually IN Pelosi's Congressional District!!!
