Yes the grocery stores were bare Friday around here and Saturday my daughter couldn’t use Instacart everything was out. It’s so bad at my house I just made vegetables soup and cornbread Saturday and ate on it for two days. Damn life is good.😀
Remember back in the 60’s in grade school when the school actually cooked. On Friday’s it was soup day either tomato or chicken with a peanut butter or a pimento cheese sandwich. But the kicker was these cookies, I haven’t had one since the 70’s when my sisters use to make them. No bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. Short the oatmeal and it’s a lot like fudge cookies. So yesterday I made some and today they are gone. I blame my son but the truth is you just can’t eat just one.
