“the OIG's office has revealed it is *reviewing* past cases of how the FBI handled misconduct by it's personnel. ... Not only that, the OIG is also taking a deep dive into how the FBI's been handling it's "Confidential Human Source" program.”

“If Horowitz found there was no *real* intelligence source for top FBI officials to be launching this spying effort that targeted the Trump Presidential campaign, you can bet he's going to rake them over the coals for misusing CHS's for politicized purposes & paying for with tax $”

Brian’s thread is based on several new entries in the OIG's ongoing work webpage that were not there just a short time ago. Brian indicates that the OIG has added the following to its to do list:

1. it is *reviewing* past cases of how the FBI handled misconduct by it's personnel.
2. the OIG is also taking a deep dive into how the FBI's been handling it's "Confidential Human Source" program by auditing the FBI's use of covert contracts.

3. And lastly: an audit of the national security undercover operations which Brian characterized as “disguising a politically motivated spying investigation of a Presidential campaign by....invoking national security as a cover.”

All this from the OIG work webpage? I feel like I am watching an experienced tracker gleaning out huge amounts of information from slight indentations in the soil.

Bravo, Brian.
