CMS is the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Before the OSHA mandate was a thing CMS tried a mandate that was structured pretty much like the OSHA mandate. Hospital or facility (there was a list) employees must be vaccinated by Jan. 4 or tested on a regular basis or they would not be able to take Medicare or Medicaid for payment.
